Hey there… let’s chat about why working with little ones is one of my favorite parts of beach photography here in Destin and along the Emerald Coast! As a mom myself I know it can feel really daunting for parents to plan photoshoots, but I also know just how important it is to capture those memories of our ever changing and growing little ones. As someone who’s been capturing families for over 15 years I how to keep those sessions fun and relaxed (and quick) especially when you’ve got a wiggly toddler or a shy little one who’s unsure about the camera!
Parents often feel a little nervous about scheduling a photoshoot with their babies or young kids… trust me, I get it! You’re worried about meltdowns, nap schedules, and whether your sweet baby will cooperate. Here’s the thing – I’ve worked with large groups of kids, newborns, and everything in between! I’ve been a newborn photographer and have plenty of experience capturing those real, joyful moments with even the tiniest of subjects. Infant safety and comfort are always at the top of my mind!
I bring a calm, gentle approach to every session and always go with the flow of what your kids need – whether that’s stopping for a snack break, letting them play in the sand, or making silly faces to get those giggles going! My goal? To create photos that show your family’s love and personality… no forced smiles, just real fun in the sun here on the beautiful beaches of the emerald coast.
